Future Leaders Connect - deadline 6 May 2019

Eligibility: You must live in Canada, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Poland, Tunisia, UK or USA. Applications from Egypt and USA are by invitation only. The Future Leaders Connect Programme aims to provide future leaders with skills and international networks which will improve their ability to make or influence policy changes, leading to long term impact on the social and economic development in their countries and beyond. The project is being undertaken to support the development of future policy makers in key countries, aiming to help them become exceptional leaders. The Programme is run by the British Council, 10 Spring Gardens, London SW1A 2BN, United Kingdom. As a part of the programme, those who are selected will be required to travel to the UK from 21 October - 1 November. Further information

Rights and Climate Change workshop and of GLF Bonn 2019 - deadline 10 April 2019

Become a champion for people, a champion for rights. Join a two-day, pre-GLF workshop on June 20 and 21 to learn how to leverage the climate challenge to build a just future. Learn to adopt a rights-based approach to your work while exploring the link between securing rights and climate change. By taking part in the program you will: Learn of key rights-related issues and current global solutions Understand how climate change impacts rights of communities Share knowledge with a cross-cultural community of other passionate people Expand your network, meeting professionals from all over the world Collaborate with existing youth organizations, programs and initiatives Top applicants will be sponsored to travel to Bonn for the workshop.
